Rainbow Teddies Pre-school occupies two classrooms at Manorbrook Primary School.

We have access to our own toilet facilities and a large all year outside play area.

The classrooms are colourful and well resourced.

Carefully planned zoned areas give children the opportunity to access all areas of the pre-school learning through play curriculum.

Staffing

Rainbow Teddies Pre-school aims to provide good adult child ratios.

Each Session will be lead by qualified leaders who will be supported by experienced assistants. The ratio will be at least one adult to 4 children for under 3s and by one adult to 6 children for 3s and over. During the course of the sessions, attention will be paid to the deployment of staff across the two rooms to maintain good ratios and supervision.

Rainbow Teddies Pre-school aims to facilitate funding and access to training for all the staff. All staff are encouraged to attend courses to gain relevant qualifications, to acquire new skills and to up-date current methods and practices.
Funding is provided for all relevant staff to update their First Aid certificates. There will always be at least one qualified First Aider on site for each session.

The Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators up-date their training regularly to ensure that current practices are employed within the group.
